Magical Mallorca

Hello everyone, it is nice to be back after a little work/relaxation break for ten days. I am back in AZ now and let’s just say two dogs are very happy I am home. Many of you asked to see some photos from our trip to Mallorca so here we go! Have you ever been to Mallorca before? I had only been once before this trip and liked it but I wouldn’t say I loved it. Now it is one of top ten favorite places to visit! You know that way when a place just “grabs” you and doesn’t let go? I only have that relationship with Austria for some reason, I don’t know exactly why but for some reason I am attracted to it. My partner Timm happens to love Mallorca and knows it like the back of his hand so he is a great your guide. This trip we took it really easy and just drove around the entire island exploring every corner. I have never seen water so blue and smelled air so fresh! I hope you enjoy

The best part about having a rental car is there are no limits when it comes to exploring. We drove through the mountains where goats and sheep stopped to say hello and discovered the best spots for mind blowing views. At one point my allergy to eucalyptus kicked in and we had to race back to the hotel to get my medication. I carry an epi pen with me except for that day! OOOOOPPPPS! 0R9B3013

How cute are these sheep? As some of you know, I love lambs so when I saw the little shy guy I just had to get a little closer. As we were driving down from the mountain we came across this little inlet where sheep were roaming and cyclists were taking a break from their enduring adventures. The vegetation is very similar to Arizona which surprised me;flax  grows wild in Mallorca! mallorcasheepherd0R9B3002mallorcasheep

Later I will share with you my new favorite village, Valldemossa, for its charm and green infusion. You won’t believe how many plants some of the houses have! I was blown away by Mallorca and appreciate its magic more now that I am aware of it.

Have a pleasant day,

Jocelyn

admin - Thank you, Judith! The turquoise sea was just amazing and as far as I could see it was clear as day. Those little lambs reminded me of Coolwhip and Popcorn 🙂 I did manage to get back on my feet after my allergy attack and this time it wasn’t as bad as it can be. xxReplyCancel

mugs - Jocelyn.. I love this blog post. It is such a joy to be taken to a place that you love. Your photographs are beautiful and I love that you comment on the plants and animals of the region.

I wrote a poem about our favorite place… and it described Capitol island which is connected to Southport Island in Boothbay Harbor, Maine. Southport is where Rachel Carson wrote Silent Spring and I know you would love it. I’ll email you the poem. Looking forward to more posts from the inner interior .. as always..
