Mindful Blogging and Speaking at The Hive Conference

Hello everyone! Here in Arizona the spring season has arrived and the scent of orange blossoms fill the air . Everywhere I look, the flowers are in full bloom and and greeting the sun with their radiance. Spring is my favorite time of the year, the natural fragrance the desert is a scent I could never get tired of. With summer approaching quickly, I am in preparation mode for my upcoming talk at The Hive Conference taking place in Copenhagen May 17th and 18th. Last summer I had the pleasure of going to Berlin for The Hive and had a blast so the decision was easy to return this year as a speaker! I love cultivating a creative community and there is nothing quite like a blogging conference to meet new folks and learn some new things.

As you may already know, mindful living is a practice I dedicate my life to. I don’t always get things “right” but, I do learn and what I have come to know will hopefully help others. We all know blogging is not simple, easy or just a “fly by the seat of your pants” kind of thing; it requires skill and drive, two things that can be challenged easily while balancing life. Through my experience, I have come to know {mindfulness} tools that truly help in creating more profound and peaceful moments whilst blogging. We all know how stressful it can be to let a week or two go by without posting. At some point or another we know it can be a challenge to use your voice softly and kindly and still be direct and stay true to your beliefs. Do we not all know how the swirling thoughts can get in the way of the creative process? Yep, I have been there and while I am not going to say I am free of those moments, they are becoming less and less prominent as I continue my mindfulness practices.

In petite doses, mindfulness goes a long way, and it is my sincere intention to share my tips to help others blog more peacefully with profound results. Will you be there? If you are, let’s meet! Email me and we can set up a time to have a coffee/tea and one of those amazing Danish pastries!

I am thrilled to be part of such a wonderful conference and I would like to give a special thanks to Yvonne and her team for believing in my topic, and supporting the blogging community by serving up a wonderful event. I believe there are many talented bloggers and designers coming to The Hive as well, you can find them all right here.

Hope to see you in Copenhagen,

Jocelyn
