My Brand in Motion with Imaginale

Hello friends, today is an extra special day here on The Inner Interior and I am so glad you are here. Later last year I was introduced to Alejandra Vidal of Imaginale by Promise Tangeman, both of these ladies have impeccable integrity and have the kindest hearts. When I was designing my website with Promise we set up a video page “just in case” I ever wanted to add one. She immediately suggested Alejandra so being the go getter I am, I called and made an appointment with her right away. We met at my home where she asked in-depth, powerful questions to better understand my brand and who I was. I never knew how powerful a brand film can be, and for me, there is no other way to portray the principles of my work better than the way Alejandra has. Together with style guru, Alex of Ave Styles  we created a palette suitable for my philosophy and not one detail was missed.

I will admit I do not {usually} prefer to hear the own sound of my voice. Why is that? I know I am not the only one so why do you think that is? I will say listening to my own philosophy behind design and style makes me emotional and I believe this is the wheel turning within, I am living my purpose and I am grateful for the experience. Seeing myself in a mirror is one thing, but watching myself in a film is different. Do I really look like that? crossed my mind a hundred times. I critique myself just as much as the next girl and I have come to know embracing imperfections is what frees me from the constructs of my mind which tell me I need to be perfect.

The day of filming lasted seven wonderful hours and I honestly could have kept going we were having SO much fun. Mary Claire of Mary Claire Photography came along to help and her essence in the film can be felt along with Ale’s. I don’t think I have ever met two women who understand the nature of femininity and how to grace a film with its presence. Do you ever feel the “vibration” in a room before you enter it? If you do, than you can imagine my house must have been glowing from the outside…..that is how much love and passion for great work was being shared inside. Mary Claire is a talented photographer to say the least, she captured one of the best images ever taken of me which happens to be my profile pic!

I hope you enjoy this film and feel like you know me a little deeper than you did before. I realize the material I share is of the deeper sense of life but this is the only way I feel truly fulfilled….and I am so glad to be able to share with wonderful people like YOU!

Whatever we find ourselves doing today, may we all find a place in our hearts to respond with love and kindness…no matter what.

Warmly,

Jocelyn xx

mel - Jocelyn, that video in motion is such a great idea and so beautifully done! So lovely to hear your voice too and I do feel like I know you so much more. I’m also a big believer in the energy of the room, sometimes it’s so strong! Congratulations to you and the team. Mel xx

admin - Hello Mel, thank you! I love the way it turned out and I feel it completes the brand well and the edges are a little rounder. I think I am really sensitive the energy in a room because I am so curious about the person that lives there. I agree, it can be strong, passionate and intense….I find those people to be so interesting! Oh, and the duvet is from Restoration Hardware! Can I send you one? 🙂 Jocelyn xxReplyCancel

tina@colourlviing - Wow – how did I miss that??? I’m sorry, I’m a little out of touch with Social Media et cetera at the moment and only dipping in and out!

What an amazing video. You look and sound adorable, really authentic and sincere… I love your voice and like Mel said, rather soothing!

It goes without saying that it’s beautifully shot and it so complements who you are and what your brand is.

admin - Oh Tina, you make me laugh! No worries on being out of touch, I actually prefer to be that way sometimes. I am so glad you love the film, it turned out so well which is no surprise with Alejandra doing it! I never thought my voice sounded soothing but I like that others feel that way. I really appreciate your support with this! It was a huge jump for me! xxReplyCancel

Anja (savorychicks) - I like that thought! Sisters in spirit.
Hopefully one day we can meet in person. My travels sometimes take me to Hamburg and San Diego (as close as I usually get to Arizona), so I am looking for opportunities 🙂ReplyCancel
