There are just some things that are good for the soul like pancakes and a really profound quote. During breakfast this morning I realized why people loved pancakes so much and more importantly I knew why I loved this new breakfast tradition for me and my partner. The process of making the batter together is fun and a team effort. Laughing at when we don’t get the first batch quite so right is like food for the soul. Sitting down to the table which is far from perfectly styled is a treat, it is refreshing and actually encourages me to take a deep breath. Tasting the pancakes is like receiving a little bite of heaven. The pancakes are not the answer here but the inner alignment that happens from the pancakes is what matters most to me. Who knew a pancake would inspire a blog post?!
I have selected 10 quotes from the past week that steeped my soul and I hope you find them equally as inspiring.

Meaning lies in us.” Marianne Williamson
