Style Mantra : SHARE THE GOOD

With it being Monday and all I thought a mantra for the week was essential, and this one is a real doozie. Recently I was asked why I wanted to speak on the topic of mindful blogging at The Hive which is in a few weeks time. I shared a little with my friend the nature of the talk and she was stunned at how “vulnerable” I was being. I didn’t see it the same way as she did, but I did see how one could perceive my sharing of experiences as being very open. The answer to her question was quite simple; I am here to share my experiences and what I have learned so that others may find help and guidance if they are seeking it. As soon as I learn something and someone asks me how I got “it”, I am the first to share the beginning, middle and end….no matter how ugly the middle may have been. You see, my life is not about me in a personal sense, my life is about living my purpose and that is to share with openness and total truth.

I would like to point out sharing is not preaching or teaching. I have mentioned it before, I do not believe I have anything to teach anyone. It is my belief and understanding we all have the answers we need for our own lives right within us, and a little inspiration can help us get to that inner well of knowledge and joy. This week I will remind myself to share all the goodness whether it be the lemons on my lemon tree, a listening ear, my knowledge of photoshop with someone, my sincere gratitude or whatever. Holding all the goodness within me is never going to return it and I am a big believer in we get what we give but we don’t give to get. We give because we can and we see that everything flows right back to us.

Happy Monday to everyone and be sure to share some goodness wherever you are RIGHT NOW!

Mel - Such a beautiful mantra to begin the week with and stick to for life! I’ve seen examples of this so many times in my life and that of others, it’s like unclogging the energy channels. Thanks for the reminder Jocelyn and hope that you’re having a lovely week. I saw that you met with Will and Toby, that would have been so much fun. Mel xxReplyCancel

admin - Hello Mel, yes! For me, a mantra resets me to my center, the true nature of my being. Thank you for stopping by and would you mind if I used your example of “unclogging the energy channels” with those who ask for further descriptions? I will be sure to credit you 🙂 It was so fun meeting with Will and Toby, they are Coolwhip and Popcorn’s biggest fans I think. I cannot wait to see the photos Will took! From what I saw briefly they will be nothing short of pure sweetness. Hope you are having a wonderful week so far! Big hugs xoxoReplyCancel
